Solution
LG Sands provided 50,000 tonnes of premium thermal sand to ensure superior heat dissipation and long-term performance in solar farm cable trenches. Our precisely graded silica sand met the project’s strict thermal resistivity requirements.
Result
Our highly consistent product quality not only met but exceeded expectations, with all thermal resistivity results falling within the optimal range of 0.8–1.0 Km/W. This improved cable efficiency and allowed the contractor to earn a performance bonus from their client due to the enhanced energy transmission and long-term cost savings.
